My boys got this 6 years ago (it was more expensive back then!) It has been a big attraction in our house for years. the foam is just beginning to come off etc. My children play rough, albeit for the amount of pleasure it has given them. Both of my boys LOVE this item. This is the most popular item on the farm. The only weak point was the padding. This is quite a strong foam (like the stuff sold to keep your faucets from freezing in the winter). I think under "normal" use it would be fine. But my 4 year old started biting it and it came to pieces. We fixed this easily enough by wrapping a layer of duct tape to cover all of the foam. If your kids are playing rough, you might consider doing something similar.

First of all my kids LOVE this swing. They had so much fun with it and it's used almost every day. The frame is strong, the rope is good quality, the installation is easy.
