This is a beautiful lamp and the only difficulty is that the spring resistance mechanism to reach the lamp area is very stable, so I am afraid of breaking the glass or bulb. So just be very careful. This is a very nice addition to my collection!

It was packaged very well and all parts were protected. Assembly was easy; They include a YouTube video so you can see how it was put together (e.g. a 2 minute video). The whole thing is great. I bought a 7W E12 candelabra bulb. It's not very bright, but it doesn't get hot (as stated in some questions). I'll probably buy a 15W or 25W E12 bulb.

I was glad my lamp arrived after waiting 3 days. It was so easy to put together and beautiful when complete. The only thing that upset me was having to run to the store to get a lightbulb. So if you order one (which I highly recommend), get this bulb before it arrives so you can switch it on right away. I promise you won't be disappointed because it's exquisite! This picture is wrong!

These lamps look absolutely classy and are immaculately finished. I bought one to see how I liked it at first but am now ordering two more. Another for both bedside tables in the bedroom and another for my desk. They work with a 25w bulb and you can use an incandescent or LED, white or colored bulb to enhance the look. They don't give off much light, but they're not designed for that either. They are perfect for mood lighting.

Have you seen such lamps in the FB group? Ha ha ha, well, it's legal! If you buy this there is a note inside stating that it looks completely different when lit. Don't overdo it. I really wasn't sure about my purchase until the bulbs arrived. That's great. It's heavy enough to be stable but doesn't pose a risk of falling. I gave it to a friend with two cats and they couldn't tip it over. However, it is in the corner. I've seen it for many, many years. Just great.

Don't cut yourself! * Replacing the bulb is very patchy. The lamp has pins that you have to clamp and insert into the glass. Be careful or the whole ball will break. Pieces of colored glass were glued together only in some resemblance to the pattern presented on the website. None of the pieces were glued next to the others, even where they should have been in close contact. There was no mortar or plaster between the broken glass. The light from the bulb showed white between pieces of colored glass around the globe, illuminating the glue smeared across the base of the globe. I bought this lamp advertised as a table lamp but that is not possible. First, it extends below its base. At first I thought maybe I could bend it and move it a bit, but the sphere and attached star are still touching the table. Second, the globe is too heavy to stand on a table without tipping over. I noticed that the bubble wrap says to hang the lamb on a hook. I can try, but I still don't see a spot in the base where I could attach it to the wall. Very disappointing for something in this…
