Fits perfectly, get ready to improvise

I bought this for a 2004 Toyota Corolla. As expected, it fit perfectly and was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than another brand from the local store. At the same time, be prepared to improvise, since removing the old sensor completely clogged the threads in the manifold. Use penetrating oil liberally when removing the old gauge and be prepared to purchase a tap and cutting tool kit to restore the threads. I wasn't prepared for this and so a half hour's work turned into a full day.

The 2004 Toyota Corolla S is an easy setup for a beginner.

I'm not a mechanic, this is a first for me. Was able to be replaced with no problems or the need for a special socket. 2004 Toyota Corolla S, Disconnect battery, remove 4 x 12mm nuts to remove heat shield, disconnect top wire, 22mm box wrench and plenty of room for box wrenches. Remove and flip to install a new part - yes I forgot to put the electrical wire through the heat shield the first time I tried to reinstall - easy fix - and then reinstall the heat shield. I reconnected the battery…

Five stars are good for parts

Burned and burning Toyota Matrix XR 03 engine light in 11 months 6000 miles. The original 02 sensor lasted 15 years and 80,000 miles. It's not the same as OEM. Only the Denso name is the same. The quality is not the same. This time I bought a replacement sensor for $25. I am sure it is of the same quality as this one. It's a cheap sensor you pay $50 instead of $25 because you buy the Denso name. but you are not buying a quality product. My Toyota Matrix is less than 100,000 miles. All in stock…

Get it right Denso

Installed this O2 sensor along with another Denso 02 sensor My 2004 Toyota Corolla Check Engine Lite caught fire at 180,000 miles. Not knowing which sensor 02 it was, I decided to replace both. I paid almost half the price as a main Revain customer. So I would pay 1 02 sensor at the dealer, I got both! I installed the 02 sensor myself and after 1200 miles and believe there was no relighting of this Check Engine Lite. I chose DENSO because it is OEM. "Manufacture of the original equipment". This

Perfect fit, good value for money

I bought this O2 sensor because Denso is the same brand that Toyota uses. I've read on internet forums that other brands don't work. This is my first time installing O2 sensors and the job was easy as I found a YouTube video explaining the process. I would give 4.5 stars if I could just because Denso doesn't have vehicle specific instructions either in the box or on their website. It would be nice if Denso would let me know what size wrench is required and that the heat shield needs to be…

A little further: sensors

This is the exact brand that Toyota uses on their cars and that's why I bought it to replace the one that has over 200,000,000 miles on my Corolla. After a week or two my check engine light came on, which didn't make me very happy, but then the check engine light went out and hasn't come on for about 6 months. My gas mileage, which I was hoping to improve with this purchase, hasn't improved and I'm not even sure it could have gone down a bit. But I'm not sure because it could be my 213,000 mile

Direct Replacement for 2003 Toyota Corolla LE

I ordered this sensor and 234-4233 as a direct replacement for my 2003 Toyota Corolla LE. The car started to code P0420 due to catalytic converter problems. When the dealer flashed the ecu to TSB eg028-04 the code came back. I was about to order a new catalytic converter when I saw that another person with the same problem posted a review stating that after replacing these sensors in his car the code had disappeared. The sensors arrived a day early which was great as I needed to install them as
