I'm not a mechanic, this is a first for me. Was able to be replaced with no problems or the need for a special socket. 2004 Toyota Corolla S, Disconnect battery, remove 4 x 12mm nuts to remove heat shield, disconnect top wire, 22mm box wrench and plenty of room for box wrenches. Remove and flip to install a new part - yes I forgot to put the electrical wire through the heat shield the first time I tried to reinstall - easy fix - and then reinstall the heat shield. I reconnected the battery - started the engine - the engine won't start - and the car works perfectly!
