🔧 Enhanced Denso 471-0316 Compressor with Clutch Review

Bullshit. Looked at the new mechanic and said the compressor was dead. He said it was old. I didn't tell him he was new. Hey Denso, pay for my installation. This is double what I had to pay for installation.

So glad I chose this one. Take your time with the installation and remember that there is oil in it. So don't remove the caps that the lines attach to until you literally install the lines. Got in easier than I thought going through the wheel well. Much luck!

I installed that and a few other things. The system works great again, 36 degrees on the first fan level. The compressor is also pretty quiet. There's no good reason to buy a smaller compressor when you're getting a well-known quality unit at such a great price. I have a 2002 Suburban Z71 with rear air conditioning.

Item is identical to what I pulled out. When on YouTube how to change, some people pull the wheel and remove the fender guard. However, removing the dust cover under the fan is just as easy, and you have pretty good access to most of the mounting screws. The rear bottom screw is the most difficult to remove, but still not too difficult. It's freezing again.

Replacing the supercharger on a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, 4x4 clutch and replacing the clutch coil. But the compressor was aftermarket, a little-known brand, made in China.
