Solid Replacement Ignition Part

I purchased this replacement part and it performed just as well as the original. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to easily install it myself. The quality seems durable and it was reasonably priced. The only downside is that I had some trouble finding the exact part number for my vehicle.

Pros
  • High-quality original equipment replacement
Cons
  • May not fit certain vehicle models

not good for spark plugs and wires

I have a 2001 Suburabn 8.1L, installed it 3 years ago. 5 were denso marked on them. 3 were marked with a 7mm anti-interference wire. I thought it was weird but installed it anyway. The engine has been running rough for the last few months. Insert the GM Tech 2 scanner into the OBD port to view live data and ensure the 3 shared wires are misfired. My advice, pay an extra $50 for AC Delco

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Modern

Some design issues but good price

I don't want to leave a negative opinion but I have my cables connected to my Avalanche 8.1 v. does not melt (at least not after 1000 km of route + evacuation). The problem is that it doesn't seal well and occasionally falls out of the spark plug, this has happened twice in 1000 miles. (I know how to replace cords and plugs, I'm pretty sure I did everything right). But at an OEM price, it will cost you over $100 and is just over half the cost of an OEM. I'll get a new one from the dealer but 3โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great general specs
Cons
  • I have doubts
