I have been shaving for over 40 years. We started with DE, switched to Schick injectors, then electric shavers (screen and rotary), then disposables, then cartridges, then back to DE. These are just great blades. I tried several different blades each: Derby, Astra, Bic, Gillette Silver Blue, Gillette 7 O Clock Black, Nacht, Personna and Feather. These are all great blades. But I keep coming back to Derby. The derby blade isn't the sharpest blade, but the shave is much smoother and less annoying. I ordered these blades in June 2016 and they have lasted me 19 months with the blades changed every 3-4 days. This was my first shave with a double-edged blade. I chose the Derby because it was the one that came with my Edwin Jagger razor. I really like them a lot!
