🪒 Derby Extra - Pack of 200 Double Edge Razor Blades Review

Good woods. I have been using Derby for many years. The seller misrepresented the goods. What they really mean is 200 DISPOSABLE blades. This means you actually get 100 double-edged blades and then have to break them in half to get 200 single-edged. Which would be fine if you were using a single blade razor, but if you were using a dual blade safety razor you would only have 100 blades. You must know before you order.

Great disposable razors. I use it then throw it away, I have coarse facial hair if I let it grow back for a few days. Because of this I can't use it more than once, but this one use is a great shave. I use shaving oil with them and shave in the shower and never cut or ever get cut. I highly recommend these razors. This is excellent value for money. I use these blades with the old Gillette thick handle technology along with Arco shaving soap in stick version. These Derby blades work well for me and I get about 4 good shaves and then maybe a below average 5th shave if I forget to change the blade after the 4th. Mostly good. Blades with numbers are reliably good. I can shave up to 3 times with a single blade, but I opted for a single blade due to my coarse beard and sensitive skin. Here's the catch (literally): Most 5-packs have 1 unnumbered blade. Sometimes you're lucky and there's 0 in the stack, sometimes you're unlucky and there's 2. Why is that a consequence? Because these blades are basically like using a cheese grater on your face. I've used about 12 of these blades since I bought a pack of 200…

I've been wet shaving for over 10 years, although these blades aren't as sharp as other blades I've tried (Personna, Feather, Astra), they're still sharp enough to deliver you a close, smooth shave. I recommend this wet razor blade for beginners as it leaves a lot of room for error. So far this is the only blade that does not burn during the shaving process and that is very important.

this is my favorite shaving product, after the shower I pour hot water into a mug of shaving soap and apply shaving foam while it is still warm and I use these blades in a good Merkur razor "1904" safety razor 42C and have fun. You can adjust the angle without fully tightening the blade, which I find much better.

These are very well made razor blades, thin, sharp and comfortable. They are well packaged and really phenomenal at this price point. I'm not a straight razor connoisseur having tried every brand on the market but they certainly surpass store bought blades in quality and even more so in price. a fairly stiff beard and tend to miss a day of shaving once or twice a week.
