The Fake Thing - Facial Moisturizers

So upset this was a scam product as it has been my favorite cream for ten years. I used it for a week and broke out badly, went to the doctor's skin. I finally noticed that the cream tube was open at the top and smelled strongly of sunscreen. I would really like to find a way to buy a real cream on Amazon.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other products

The product is amazing.

I LOVE this face moisturizer. It's light enough for my combination skin that I don't feel greasy, it just feels hydrated. I was hesitant to purchase this product from Amazon based on last year's reviews. However, it was packaged exactly as I bought it in the store. The press was completely closed. When I opened it, it smelled and felt the same as the lotion I previously bought. Not sure what product other buyers have received but mine was exactly what it should have been.

Perfect for morning and night

I have been using this face cream for at least 30 years. Mornings and evenings are great. Doesn't feel greasy and works well under foundation. By far the best face cream I have found and not as expensive as most. Tip: When you can't push out the tube anymore, leave it on top for about an hour, then cut off the bottom of the tube. A lot stays in. I put the tube in a plastic bag until it's really full.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Will be added later

I have VERY sensitive combination skin, dry with an oily T-zone. This is the only cream I can use that doesn't break me. I apply it in the morning before makeup. It doesn't have sunscreen in it, but my skin is so sensitive that any cream with sunscreen still knocks me out. I use it all over my face even though I have combination skin. I start by rubbing it mainly on each dry cheek and then spreading the excess over the T-zone. I finally realized that this is the cream for me. I've been tempted…

  • Hands free
Cons

Hm. Maybe I should have done without it

Pretty sure when I ordered it from dermatologica it didn't come with my bottle. I can say it's not hygienic. Does it look like small hairs or a bug? Not happy with our it on my face. Also only got that today - like now. I will definitely come again

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Great moisturizer for sensitive and aging skin

Have been using Dermalogica products for a while. Used their Intensive Moisture Balance but they got too expensive. I tried a sample of their skin smoothing cream at a beauty store and liked it so I ordered it from Revain. For the reviewers who have complained about the smell, Dermalogica doesn't use perfume in their products. Any odor quickly dissipates in all of their products. I have sensitive skin and am an elderly woman. This cream is a great moisturizer. So far no problems with outbreaks.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Functionality

Smells like bottled sunscreen

Smells like bottled sunscreen. I've been using this stuff straight from my salon for years so I know how it should smell and feel. It wasn't real.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • So-so

Came new in a sealed box. Can't live without this product!

I'm 38 years old and I'm always looking for the perfect moisturizer. I try so many different products and it seems to me that they are either too thin and not moisturizing enough, or too thick and make my skin heavy and oily. I have combination skin and this seems like the perfect middle ground. This moisturizer costs a lot more in stores and the quality ordered here from Revain is the same as if I bought it in a store. I am a big fan of Dermalogica products. I use many of their products, like…

Suitable for Sensitive Skin

I have extremely sensitive skin and Target/Walgreens/CVS products don't usually work. I've tried Neutrogena, CeraVe and the like but to no avail. I started using Dermalogica Active wet and recently this one with Hydramesh. Unlike Active Moist, it has a very specific smell. It doesn't smell very nice, but it's not bad either and usually goes away after application. I use it day and night, sometimes under makeup, and I have absolutely no problems. This is the only product I use on my face and…
