Very strong and well built. We liked the fact that the whole thing is solid and dark. I've seen some with different color tips, which defeats the purpose of getting a specific color.

They look great, feel solid and match my oiled bronze levers and hinges perfectly. I have white smooth doors and didn't notice the black rubber tip leaving any marks after a few weeks of use.

These are beautiful doorstops. They are well made and their design makes installation easy. Tip: Pre-drill holes in the support. You can turn it about 50% by hand depending on the thickness of the trimmer (I have a 1 inch trimmer). To make things easier on yourself, use the open-end wrench to turn the rest of the key. I covered the inside of the key with painter's tape to protect the doorstop trim. It worked great.

In certain door and wall configurations these attractive doorstops are best suited to protect trim and/or walls. Rubber tips help avoid marking the opposite surface. The simplest style that can be installed almost anywhere along a doorway or wall if required. Decide whether you prefer a "skirting board" or a "door stopper" and then stick with it for a more professional look. Can also be used for large panels or shutters in the right situation.

They look strong, they're heavy and they don't look cheap. The bronze finish is perfect, just what I needed to replace the brass finishes throughout. They matched ORB Rustoleum which I painted all my doorknobs and strikes with and it came out great. They also match the ORB hinges I ordered to replace the ugly brass hinges. They look great and don't bend allowing the doorknob to hit the wall! Our previous spring doorstops allowed heavier exterior doors to push down and then the doorknob would bang against the wall. My only concern is someone stepping on it or hitting it hard enough to damage the baseboard. I'm concerned that any pressure other than frontal pressure will pry the cartridge out of the baseboard like a small pry bar.
