🔧 Devcon Plastic Steel Epoxy 62345 Review

Excellent option for gun pads and other epoxies. I always try to keep a few tubes of this epoxy for years and it has always served me well. In fact, it's well known in the gun world as the standard liner for many shooters. It's not the fastest cure, but it offers excellent working time and is stronger than quick-drying epoxies.

When I broke the top off it started to ooze. My other glues don't. I followed the instructions word for word because this thing was built on my car and I didn't want to screw it up. As a hobby screwdriver, I used the end mill in the collet and apparently didn't tighten it enough. I have milled a very long and deep pocket in bar or steel clamped over a sacrificial piece of steel on a bed. Begin cutting with good coolant flow. Everything was going fine until I felt a vibration. The collet got sick. The end mill fell straight into the milling bed. Starting at zero at 5/8 inch in diameter and going up to about 1/8 inch deep and nearly four inches long. GRRRRR! Asked my friends
