I'm tall in most shirts (16.5 inch neckline and 34/35 skinny shirts in collared shirts). I bought the medium because I like that the base layers are tighter so they don't feel too tight The fit was perfect, just long enough to tuck pants in and not ride up. I thought they were thicker, I'd say it's a mix of warm under armor and their thermal gear. For the price they are amazing. and will be a good thermal base layer.

Great undershirts for cold weather. They are well insulated in cold weather, for example on the street. But YOU REALLY BREATH IN WARM BUILDINGS. I sweat a lot when I dress to keep warm outside and when I go into a warm building where I can't control the thermostat. With these shirts under my work clothes I don't freeze even in the warmest buildings. However, note that it is 2 sizes larger than regular t-shirt size to ensure a loose fit. 1 size up for a comfortable fit.

I have ordered both Slim Sport and Thermal in Slim. I'm 160 pounds and 5ft 10in, perfect for me. I didn't want a tight compression fit. This works best for me. Described as grippy but not tight I hope to wear both types now and am very happy with what I've experienced with some other shirt makers of this type - Sizing charts are confusing at best and some are just plain wrong but Devops is at the forefront.
