Good for small projects, but if you .

They work and the countersink works, but the drill bit itself is not round and wobbles a bit. You just have to be more careful with it and drive slower to avoid breaking it. Good for small projects, but when you have to do 30-50 of them it gets harder.

This piece is great for drilling pilot holes in softwoods like pine.

Works with my Dewalt Flip Drill Bit. A bit can also be used, just make sure the bottom of the bit isn't too low for the chuck to grip it firmly. This thing is great for drilling holes in soft wood like pine to keep it from cracking. I used it to build my table top with 3/4 plywood. Overall, a great tool that should accompany any exercise.

Very sharp, but the included beat is too long.

I had high hopes for this bit but unfortunately after only a few holes using the supplied bit became problematic. The drill is too long for my use and therefore comes loose when drilling. This caused the tips of the countersinks to break off. I checked the screws for tightness before use (I had to adjust the depth) so this wasn't user error. I'll say it gets three stars because it's very sharp and cuts very well. I replaced the bit with another bit from a worn countersink and was very happy…
