💎 Dewalt DW756 6" Bench Grinder Replacement Stone - 60 Grit (Part # 429633-00) Review

This is a good stone, well balanced but had problems with the shaft adapters. I had to make an adapter for a 5/8 shank but overall it was worth it.

Just installed my new 6" 60 grit sanding disc on my 50 year old [Meister] sander. Wow the old grinder sang again a better disc which I used. Get one - it's worth the price!

The product turned out to be defective. Upon inspection, I noticed that it has microcracks, indicating a malfunction. It was dangerous to use. This was the reason for the return.

I bought a Craftsman grinder and it came with a very bad grinder and wire wheels. Upgraded both bikes to a DeWalt replacement and definitely upped the ante. Much better balanced.

I thought my grinder was broken. I inherited it from my late father and it vibrated very badly and shook the desk causing things to wobble and fall. Well, after installing those grinding wheels, he's now purring like a kitten. And they grind well too!

It is fitted quite straight. The material appears to be fading faster than the original 12-year-old Sears brand it replaced. I gouged down the middle quite easily and had a pile of sand on my boots as I went about my daily activities. I've tried a few cheap wheels that were even worse. I'm a bit disappointed as this one costs more. I doubt it will last 12 years.
