WON'T CUT SCREWS

I bought these to cut both stainless steel deck screws and plain plated deck screws. A new blade didn't go through either. I love Dewalt and have many of their tools and attachments. But this product is a failure and needs to be withdrawn from the market.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Works well but short-lived

They are short-lived. They say the key to an oscillating instrument is not to let it overheat. I tried to get it to work but so many times it started smoking and the blade dulled quickly and they aren't cheap. Great for really small areas, but if you need a cut larger than 6-10 inches, get a round blade.

Pros
  • Long-lived surface
Cons
  • Updates available

Not as good as. best in Blades

First, I own and love Dewalt and the 20/60v system and have more tools than I need (according to my wife). But I wouldn't recommend using their oscillating blades. I left Milwaukee and didn't come back. Dewalt blades are slow and work, but I need purposeful movement and I don't have a whole day to carve a groove in a cabinet or baseboard.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Quality
