The longest-lasting and best grout remover

Essential for removing grout in the bathroom. I used hand tools for removing grout, a dremel and finally tried an oscillating tool. This is the best, quickest, and most accurate way to remove old grout. They hold up pretty well as long as you don't hit the tile hard. I've tried several different brands and Dewalt certainly holds the best and cheapest.

Pros
  • Beautiful thing
Cons
  • Ineffective

Blade gauge 5/64 " so slightly thicker than 0.

Blade gauge 5/64" so slightly thicker than 1/16". Of course it wants to follow the grout line, but I've learned the hard way that it can dodges and crashes into the tile if you're not careful. ) It will hit just 1.5" from the corner, and then my vibrating tool hits the opposite wall. Therefore, hand tools are still required. This becomes apparent after a short period of familiarization Easier than manual scratching I'm deducting a star because I would have preferred a 1/16" blade for my 1/16"…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

extremely practical tool

I bought it to remove joints and it does its job perfectly. (Just keep in mind that most grouts are Portland cement-based, which means you'll likely need some sort of respirator against silicate dust, just like concrete dust.) I've only had it a week, and I was pleased to find The Sanders Combo quickly did a job that would have taken me hours if I had only done it a month ago before I knew about this tool. I won't talk about convenience as many reviews mention it. A few more things in response…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Not so "Universal " for Dremel MM50

I love DeWalt tools. Basically, I rely on them to always do what they say when they say it and no fuss, no fuss. I bought this blade as a "universal" replacement blade for a worn Dremel blade that fits my Dremel MM50. The packaging says "Generic" and the brand "Dremel" for which it is generic. This *NOT* applies if your Dremel is a Multi-Max MM50. I'm sure it's probably written somewhere (hint: not on the box!), but for an item that advertises itself as 'universal' and 'suitable' for the Dremel

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Modern
