Will not fit standard air line fittings

The end that screws into the motor fits perfectly. But the end where you connect the air line will not fit into an air line fitting

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not secure

A must have item for any diesel vehicle

A must have for diagnosing 6.0 stroke high pressure oil leaks. I put a swivel connector on it and use it with a swivel hose.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Nothing fits the small end thread

I took this to a hardware store, parts store and hose shop and they have all tried every fitting they have and nothing fits.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not bad

The air connection thread sucks!

Non-tapered thread. Thus only one thread can be used. They must be made with PROPER 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads. Otherwise, it is a suitable piece of metal.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Volume

Was hoping the reviews were wrong

I was really hoping the negative reviews were wrong. I'm a mobile mechanic and I work with 6.0 liters all the time. I decided I need this tool, it's hard to find one with decent reviews. Was hoping the negative reviews were incorrect. But sure enough: no standard air fitting will fit the threads, and this thing isn't the size of an IPR socket used to remove an IPR when the turbo is still on. What's good about it? ? Why are they using the wrong topics?

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Heavy solid brass fits the IPR hole in the 2003-2007 HPOP 6.0 case

I had the same problem as many of the reviewers before me, with the small end having an unknown thread size. However, after spending some time at the local hardware store and trying both SAE and Metric, I was still confused as nothing fitted properly. A 12mm coarse thread screw would fit, but wobbled a bit and the 1/2" was too tight. So I went to the brass fittings section and found that 1/4" pipe threads fit into multiple threads quite easily. Then it will really snug.. I just want to screw in

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • There are bugs
