Not suitable for most new standard cars I bought a special adapter especially for this ball but it still didn't have the right thread.

The seller has to include some kind of glue with the product. Explain why after selecting the correct fitting for your shift selector. The handle (ball) comes out very easily when shifting. I had to use Gorilla Glue to attach the fitting to the shift knob.

Total Bullshit! Broke during installation. The threaded part completely detached from the handle after almost no pressure was applied to it when tightening. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Lesson learned, spend money and get a quality shift knob!

This is a good gear knob but it's a lot smaller than I expected. I only sent it back because I later decided I needed it big and heavy. The engraving was hard to read just because it was very small, but still a fitting shift knob for those who don't want to spend $100 on a real weighted one.

Feels good in my hand and I can't wait to pack it in my truck. These metal bushings thread into your derailleur and all the external threads go into the shift ball, which is nice. The only downside I have so far is that it doesn't come with a lock nut to properly align the shift ball, but a 25-cent household fix is more than enough.

The part didn't work at all on my dart. Even the smallest adapter slides in and out without rubbing the threads. SO. Bought an extra adapter. This worked for about 14 hours, until the hot Sacramento sun melted the adhesive and caused the metal thread to detach from the sphere. I had to score points and am now waiting for a new one from a different manufacturer. What a waste of money.

DANGEROUS PRODUCT! Day 1, fell into his wife's hand while driving! I installed it in the evening, I received it. Installation was very easy and the included adapters worked great. I bought it for my FRS, it fits well into the interior. I've watched a number of videos of people changing the lift/tailgate mechanism and decided that nothing, too much trouble. So I got this ball. When you first put it on it is a) backwards and b) high up. I used my dremel and router and reamed out the hole: you only drill out about an inch. I doubled.
