Does not take long. Not worth $60

Received the blade in the mail and within 30 minutes was destroyed. After about 8 cuts of mild steel 1/8" square tubing he stopped cutting. I read reviews and cut painfully slow to try to extend the life of my $60 blade. In the beginning it was very easy and was only light pressure which is causing the blade to slowly eat away. The cuts have come out perfect and I was very impressed. After about the 6th cut it became more and more difficult to cut. Now I'm saving what I have left to make a 45…

Worked great while at work.

First of all, I have to admit that I don't have much practical experience of using serrated blades to cut steel. I put it on a 12" DeWalt miter saw to cut 11 gauge (1.5 x 1 x .120") rectangular tube. I had to make twelve 90° cuts and sixteen 45° cuts. I made all 90° cuts without any problems. On the third sixth 45° cut, he just stopped cutting. It cut through half the thickness of the wall and cut no more. I wasn't trying to get through it. I took my time with every cut. They were beautiful…

Pros
  • Cermet alloy metal cutting teeth resist impact, reduce wear and last up to three times longer than traditional carbide.
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Maybe I have a bad knife.

I used to use this 7 1/4" in my table saw with great success. I wanted to make some bevel cuts on large work pieces so I needed a larger blade and didn't want to constantly have metal shavings in my table saw. Saw. I installed this 12" Dewalt saw with a router controller to slow down to proper RPM. Unlikely to cut anything! Cuts very thin stock well but not like a 7 1/4 blade .Cuts like one I have to think I just have a bad blade because the difference was so big I had to give up cutting 1/4"…

Pros
  • Advanced Laser Cutting Stabilizer Vents trap noise and vibration for maximum stability, keeping you cool and precise when cutting metals.
Cons
  • Low Repairability
