Thanks I hate wire cutters

The first day the handles slipped off when I cut the wire mesh. I bought some expensive milling cutters, thinking that I would avoid such cheap tools.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Okay, but not for fencing.

maybe my mistake. I was hoping that they would easily cut the 12.5 gauge wire used to fence the pasture, but they didn't. Otherwise they seem to be of decent quality.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • some mistakes

Really good wire cutters, not sure they cost over $25

They're great period, not much to say other than I've been able to cut a bunch of 12 gauge wire for the past few days without too much trouble. Is it because it costs more than $25? I'm not sure if that might have been part of my professional day, but hey. Rest assured that they are of good quality.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Excellent tailors. in pliers

I have checked them out and they live up to the reviews saying they are the best. I saw a friend struggle to cut the cable with a larger, more expensive cutter. The next day I put them in my car and when I saw it I told him to try this cutter on the end of the same cable just to compare the cutters. It wasn't a fight at all. We were both quite impressed.

Great Tailors: Pliers

Work! I bought small pairs and struggled to get them to cut through even the smallest things. I figured I'd order a better pair and when they got here I tried them straight away. They cut right through and I don't have to gnaw through the wire. It was so easy. I think I learned that if you want to do something, you need a tool that can get the job done.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Protection

Great for cutting stuff!

Cut wires? No problem. Romex? It wouldn't be smoother if I heated them up and cut some butter into them. Did you cut a little (about 1/4 inch) of plastic? No problem. Do you cut the 3D printer filament to finish? Imagine - no problem. It's probably overkill for everything in the house. I like it. I'm an amateur, not a pro, so I can't comment on cutting 8 hours a day, day after day. But for me they are great!

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • No power

Made in USA doesn't always mean good quality.

I want to buy an American. That and generally positive reviews for these 7 inch pliers which is why I bought them 2 years ago for some home electrical work so nothing special and little used. I got them for some auto work with a lighter gauge and they don't cut at all, upon inspection the cutting blades were badly chipped except at the tip so the cut edges couldn't meet. Now in the trash.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Repair

A pair to last: hand tools

Bought these models because they were the New York Times' favorite. I was nervous opening it for the first time because one of the cut surfaces had a slightly rough edge, but it cleared up immediately when I ran it over a steel kitchen knife. I needed good wire cutters to cut the 19 gauge steel screen on the grate and they made the job easy with lots of cuts! I haven't owned them that long but they are clearly well built and I'm glad a good tool will last for many years.

Pros
  • Sleek, lightweight design with a streamlined shape for easier handling
Cons
  • Only available in black

good company You sent the wrong item.

I received e337CB cutters instead of the e338CB I ordered. I ended up sending them back and now I hesitate to order them again because it took two weeks. I love Channellock instruments mostly because I prefer American instruments and Channellock usually comes out a little more bang for your buck compared to Klein and Southwire USA which were made as a joke. That's a little discouraging. Anyway, I'm sure the 337s would have performed better than other 7" dams, but I needed an extended crank for…

Pros
  • C1080 carbon steel for superior performance and special coating for maximum rust protection
Cons
  • unreliable

I am very disappointed with this tool. It wasn't as sharp as I thought it would be, but it fell off with the handle. With a different type of tool, the ergonomic handles would have been great, but now I understand that with diagonal cutters, it's important to slide your hand over the handles. I stuck with these pens and had open blisters before I finished my project. The slightly longer handle gave me some much-needed leverage to work on tougher parts, but the tool wasn't quite as sharp as some

Pros
  • CHANNELOCK knife and anvil-shaped cutting edge ensure a perfect fit and a long service life of the cutting edge.
Cons
  • Expensive
