Too large! my rating in my rating

These pants fit my daughter better than other khaki pants on the market. I ended up buying the ladies in Old Navy a size 2 and they fit a lot better!

Pros
  • They fit my daughter and are the perfect pants for her school!

  • The fabric may not be warm enough for colder weather, leaving girls cold.

I was very surprised as Dickies are pretty tough. My son wore pants.

Pants shrink after washing. I was very surprised as Dickies are pretty tough. My son had a pair of pants that lasted many years but didn't fit.

School pants for teenage fashionistas

Bought for my daughter, she likes it very much. They're "thin," so that's something to keep in mind. My kid is thinner so they work for her. The only complaint I have is that they wrinkle A LOT. That's why we're going to be teaching ironing techniques this summer ;)

Wrinkled Mess is the best in my rating

These pants came out of the dryer in a crazy crumpled mess. I bought them and actually bought more before washing them because it looked like the material definitely didn't need ironing. I was wrong, they wrinkle 100 times more than any other pant I've ever washed and dried.

Button issues and size at waist smaller than expected

These pants fit well (a bit tight at the waist and my daughter is slim) and are a decent length. The main problem is that the buttonhole is too small for the button to go through. I ended up widening the hole a bit with scissors. This problem, along with the small waist, means I have to shell out for a new pair of pants much earlier than I would like. The length is perfect for my daughter (height 58 inches).

I would definitely buy them again.

These trousers look good and fit well. They look good enough to be worn as school pants but with an edgy flair. This is important for shy teenagers who roll their eyes at the plain pants of an old school uniform. Black fabric attracts lint very easily. But the soft texture and stylish look more than make up for the pile. Simply attach with a lint roller! The length is just right too. A size 18 fits my curvy 12 year old well at about 5ft 3in.
