🎥 DIGITNOW Video Converter: VHS to DVD Capture | Analog to Digital Video Conversion for Mac or Windows 10 PC Review

I bought this product to transfer tapes from my Sony camcorder to DVD. Installing the software was pretty easy. After installation I connected the device to my computer and camcorder, followed the instructions and got great DVD recordings.

This is a very simple device for recording analog video and audio on a computer and the software creates a file that can be used with Apple (iMovie) and Roxio (Toast Titanium) products is compatible. It's certainly as good as the Elgato product, which costs more than double that product.

Getting into this thing was a daunting task. I couldn't figure out why the audio wasn't playing, but I eventually found that it worked fine by playing around with the audio settings. The video quality is ok, the sound is ok too. Definitely good for creating digital files from VHS tapes that I can keep. Happy with the price and purchase. I downloaded the latest Mac drivers (170MB) from their website, very very slow (about 45 minutes despite my 300MB fiber connection). I read the instructions that came with it and ran the installation package file before plugging the device into my USB port.
