🌸 Chickadees and Lilacs - Dimensions PBN Artwork 11x14 Review

This was my first Dimensions PBN. I liked that the color quality was better than other PBNs. The numbers were clearly visible and management provided additional explanations. This set comes with only one brush but is extremely versatile and I found it very easy to use in those small lines and spaces. This part requires mixing colors, but I didn't find it too difficult.

After a month of waiting, I finally received this product. Very disappointed. I have painted other Dimension paintings in the past and have been happy with the product. This is canvas, not hardboard, and there are no instructions. There are no alphabetical listings here, only numbers, so there is no need to mix colors. It was folded into a plastic bag so there are crease lines which I will try to iron out but this is a clear mistake.

I'll admit I was a bit intimidated that I would have to mix the paints myself, but thought I'd already made a few that I could at least try, and I'm so glad I did! Seriously, this is one of the easiest methods I've ever done, even with blending, and the result is amazing! I think I should have done a little more drybrushing on the background, but I'm happy with the results. And I really liked that it was a plank canvas, not a rolled canvas! This is the first time I've had to mix colors and I was a little scared to start painting because of it. I've found that I love mixing colors!
