Dimmable Replacement Halogen Livingroom Lighting Review

All three of the ones I used had problems for a relatively short time, despite supposedly years of LEDs. One burned out after a few months. Another randomly switches to high and low light. The third has gone so dark it looks like it has burned out, but it hasn't. The color is very white and brighter than the halogens I replaced (they lasted much longer - some of the original bulbs lasted as replacements).

The bulbs appear to be a quality piece of equipment and give off a good light once installed, perfect for my needs. Unfortunately, after a seemingly short period of operation, one of the bulbs began to flicker. I changed the bulbs to see if it was the base of the lamp, but no matter where I put the bad bulb, it kept flickering. 20% bounce appears high. Unfortunately, this happened a day after the return period had expired.

These lamps are complete crap! After less than a month of use, the bulbs started flickering and burning out. Also, they don't light up all the time. When I turn on the lamp, sometimes the bulbs shine brightly and sometimes they barely shine. Since the major retailers were charging $7 for a bulb, I figured I'd save some money by ordering them from Revain. In the end you get what you pay for.
