Works perfectly. Uses "Compound 5 " and "Program 3 " on a .

Works great. Uses "Connection 5" and "Program 3" on a '98 Camry. Installation instructions for others below. Connecting in the documented way causes a relay under the hood to go haywire until a D2D connection is made. It wasn't kosher to me so I connected the D2D first and then the other ports. I had to try the programming 3 times but it worked in the end.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Will not fit all

Better than putting a key in modules.

Easy to install, programming is a bit difficult. I installed this unit after giving up another brand that had an extra key inserted. Connection is very easy if you know what you're doing, and don't install remote start yourself if you don't. 😀 I read a few forums to program my Ford Focus, but after programming everything works great. One problem I had was having to reprogram it after disconnecting the battery.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Fair

Worked well just note the delay before sending the code

I bought this to use with my 2009 Toyota along with the iDatalink module which is a competing module for it. They both worked fine. In the end I chose iDatalink. One thing to note with these modules is that there is a long delay before the code is actually sent to your vehicle's transponder system once the stupidly named "during run" wire has been sent to ground, so you may need to increase the start time. for your remote start.

Pros
  • Boring Pack Wide Range

Sometimes it is not possible to bypass the protection.

My car does not start every time and behaves as if the security system in the car was not bypassed. Sometimes my car won't even start until I completely restart the remote start system after the first few attempts. Most of the time it works, so it's not a big deal, just an annoyance. I know for sure that it is connected and programmed correctly. It's installed with Python 4111p, which might be why as it's an older remote run that's not even sold anymore.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons

works but instructions are confusing

This thing works great once you get it working. However, the setup was very confusing. There were 2 different connection schemes for my machine 04 s2k. The printed manual is different from the PDF on their website. You need a printed schematic and then download the programming guide online. The programming instructions in the printed manual are incorrect. Also, I crashed another start because, once programmed, it cannot be programmed for another car. So if you decide to remove it you will have…

I was struggling to get this to work as tech support is only available for 'professional' installers due to liability issues. This would have been a very easy answer from tech support but they refused to help me. I had connected the device correctly the whole time, and the problem was where do I connect the 12V. To program, the device needs to be connected to a constant 12V voltage. Once programmed, it can simply be connected to a switched 12V voltage such as ACC. This is slightly better for…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

After receiving an offer to install a remote start in the $300+ range, I decided to do it myself. I'm quite a skilled guy and used to do car wiring. The most important thing is to do your research beforehand and plan all connections. I installed this on a 2008 Mercury Mariner Premier. Installation instructions can be found online with a simple Google search. I used alldata.com to get my car's schematics and connector locations. I used an Avital 4103LX remote starter. It took a few hours of prep

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Excellent Bypass Block

I recently purchased a Python 991 Responder LC3 SST security/remote start system and didn't realize I needed an immobilizer bypass block until the installer told me. I wanted the install to be quick, so I went to Revain that same day and found a data transponder bypass kit with a PKALL encrypted key. It had great reviews so I ordered it for same day delivery. They picked it up the next day and installed the alarm system. The bypass kit plugs directly into the brains of the Python alarm system…
