Music fun that is safe and durable!

It was a great fun musical toy. With various features for music enjoyment, which may not please. My two 1 year old nephews loved this piano as a new birthday gift. My sister and brother-in-law report that their child plays with his every day. My daughter-in-law and son-in-law say their son loves his too. With two nephews a month apart in two different cities, this piano seemed like the perfect gift for any family of 1 year old. So far it has held up. Entertaining. And has 3 different instrument

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • There are problems

Einstein's children's toy is a hit!

This is the second Baby Einstein item I bought as a gift for my new grandniece. (The first was a "belly-level" mirror for use in the cradle; the mirror is surrounded by high contrast and bright colors to aid in vision development. I've been told she loves it.) My great-niece isn't right now Quite 3 months old so the piano (estimated at 3+ months) is still a bit advanced for her in terms of pressing notes on the piano but she will grow with it. Now she likes animal sounds and recorded melodies…

Has tons of sounds, music, lights and options - baby loves it!

Our first grandson came to visit and we had to run around looking for toys. This was one and our 10 month old grandson loved it. He likes to push buttons to make noises, so he was hooked on it. He's too young to realize that the top buttons transform him into different animals, but he had fun pressing the buttons to make music. Even grandpa and dad picked out a few simple tunes on the keyboard - funny if it was a cat's "voice". For a change we changed the language (English, French and Spanish).

Whisper Soft on baby and toddler toys

Although this toy is designed to take a beating I'm not sure who will hit it as the instruments are barely audible even at high settings. I thought it might be the batteries so I replaced them with no change. Customer service says they think they are, which is a shame because otherwise it's a great concept, well done. NOTE: The packaging says 3M+ (3 months plus) - so the manufacturer can protect baby's hearing, although why pre-recorded sounds are 300% louder than instruments is beyond me…

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Some problems

Very safe softkeys that won't get very dirty if your child bites their toy.

Excellent! You don't have to worry about the switches (which should be an adult thing anyway), just the cloth keyboard. This keyboard plays very well for self-entertainment, but not for composing or playing individual notes, just playing the notes of a melody from a piece of classical music (rather than tiresome grown-up nursery rhymes). This piano actually appears to have been a replacement for an earlier version of the Baby Einstein, which was more expensive, had separate hard plastic keys…

Pros
  • Decent performance
