I was a little concerned that the installation would be difficult as I am not very computer savvy but to my satisfaction it is it was very easy! I like the picture quality, it's very clear and it really helped me. I find it very good value for money and would buy it again. I find it very good value for money and would buy it again.

I knew the picture wasn't going to be the best but it was very poor, washed out. Worst of all, it got stuck in my dock's display port and completely fell apart when trying to remove it. I literally had to use pliers to remove the rest of the dock as you can see in the photos.

I bought this to set up a desktop computer with only DisplayPort and HDMI video connections with a monitor that only has a VGA input. It worked great and delivered excellent image quality. It's still used on the same computer, but is now connected to the customer's monitor, a fancy 25-inch model. Image quality is still fantastic.

This converter adapter was needed asap to hook up a new computer to an old monitor in the office. Item arrived on time and exactly as described. Works perfectly. Very easy to tie two strings together and very cheap price. I can't say there is a converter, the picture is exactly the same as before adding the product. It's a lot cheaper to buy an adapter than to buy a new monitor.

Works fine, but the conversion doesn't support the resolution my app needs. The VGA display's native resolution is 1440 x 900, but it turns out that's not one of the supported resolutions. There was also a conversion artifact that resulted in a noticeable gray bar (on bright images) slowly moving vertically across the display. So basically works depending on your application and how picky you are about the resulting image quality.

This product is used to transmit DisplayPort signals to a VGA monitor. Literally after 3 weeks it started flickering to the point where I could barely read what was on the screen. The VGA cable and monitor are now working fine on another workstation with a VGA port, so I know that's the only component that failed. This particular problem is more prevalent than I expected. Avoid.

Reviews recommend downloading drivers. Doesn't solve the permissions problem. Does not go beyond 800x600. You can lower the resolution to 1100 x 764 on the first monitor and the second monitor will try to match it, but that's the only way to get better. Definitely NOT what they advertised. Trying to send it back would cost me a lot of shipping costs and I'd still lose money if I didn't have anything to show. Don't waste money. Spend more and get something valuable
