If you can assemble IKEA furniture you can put this together. It’s fairy simple. Assembling it was easy. Hanging it take some planning and ideally two grownups.Instructions on hanging could’ve been better. Bought this for a bathroom door form bedroom. Carton arrived a bit battered but zero damage since it was packed perfectly. A breeze to put together as every piece is stamped and instructions are right on and very easy to follow.

Door was easy to assemble and install when I bought it in June. In December we found a crack running from top to bottom on the board that the handle mounts to. I tried using the " manufacturer support” link from Revain, but there is no where on the site to submit questions or get help. Absolutely NO customer service support.

This was a big undertaking for me. I’m 5’1” and build the door myself by laying it horizontal on the ground. My hubby came home and screwed the door together and we hung it up together. Took about 30 min to build and an hour to hang up. I pre painted a header board. We used four inch nails to secure that to the wall. You need a level and drill, and a screw driver. I love this, although putting it up was not easy. This is likely due in part to my having a manufactured home. The drywall doesn't support the weight, which required extra effort to hit enough supports and keep it where I wanted it.

Looking for a bard door that is more decorative but still functional. Product was to bad, easy to assemble, but my only real issue was the fact that the plugs to go in over the screws, if you could not or did not sink that screw in all the way, those plugs dont seat flat and are impossible to pull out - have to cut them down and now you have the issue of bare wood vs the colored wood. I like the look of this door, once installed. The door requires full assembly, which wasn't too difficult. BUT it is SOOOO heavy! If I had it to do again, I would order a track system and purchase a lighter door at Home Depot. I made sure to install a 1" x 4" x 7' board to the wall studs before installing the track system (this was not an anticipated install, but recommended in the instructions that came with the door). This kit is a lower quality product but still good considering what you get for the price. Some things I ran into. Because the track for a 30" door is only 60" you either can't fully open or fully close the door; I recommend a 72" track for more flexibility. The door will shift and twist within a week or so after it's hung; that's the nature of unfinished wood.

To install takes patience and accuracy and my husband doesn’t always have patience but watched a few YouTube videos which helped a lot. Most difficult part is the header board and we couldn’t find our paint color so went with white which to me looks better with the door frame! We didn’t install a handle on the inside because it glides so easily and not needed.

Cannot emphasize enough that you cannot hang this door on dry wall, it is too heavy. A header is a must and DOES NOT come with door.My husband and I took a few hours over two days to make sure things were lined up correctly. Assembled on floor first. So pleased with final outcome. May stain later but gave us the added privacy we wanted for our master bath.

.the instructions could be improved. Don't overtighten the initial frame construction so the door slats are easier to insert. The slats are thin and may have slight warps in the tongue and groove. Don't force it! Remove, flip end-to-end and try again or select a different panel. Also, I didn't install the angle bracing (not needed, the door hangs so it won't sag) and I think the door looks even better.

I was disappointed that this was Chinese-made. I try to buy American products. That being said, the directions were pretty clear. You need a decent size space to assemble this door and it took three of us to get it all finished and hanging on the rail. I like the product. We ordered a different sliding barn door handle kit; we need to be able to move the door from either side.

We have a modular home at the lake so the door had to be modified a little bit to fit. But it is really cute and it’s perfect for our closet door. It doesn’t take up any extra room or make the corner awkward.

I used this door for our garage bathroom. Moderately easy assembly and installation. The one issue I have is that one of the vertical boards is warped. It did not stop the install but is affecting the sliding action as the center of the door is bowed in slightly. Otherwise it looks good

This door is very easy to put together took a little bit of sanding and paint goes on well it’s a great buy still have to hang it I will do a video once it’s hung

Looks good, easy and came in time, didn’t give 5 starts only because the door was damaged. Possible happened in transit but I don’t know, wood was cracked. Other than that, I was very happy overall

I have several of these in my house. Love them. Take your time painting them, they soak up the paint. Had to do three coats on each side to fill all the small cracks and ensure it absorbed properly. They look great when done.
