Works great - sprayer not great

I only gave this 3M product 4 stars because of the dispenser. Just as a side note, I understood that the solution was water based, but it appears to be some kind of petroleum based liquid. The spray bottle was ready after one application (10-12 sprays with two loops). After that I had to pull the nozzle back every time. For the money, they could explore the applicator pod a little more.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

3x the price for really less performance.

I use a 30" belt and I usually use white compound. I can shave most common steels with it. I bought it just to see how much better I can get. To be honest I will cut it 3 more times to make it sharp but not very sharp. It's expensive but I feel like you're paying a lot more for everything. I'm damn good at sharpening. For the price I was expecting a lot and even a sharper edge but I just can't get it as sharp as I would with regular white pastes.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Excellent spray for fine dressing of knife edges.

My hobby (buying and) sharpening Japanese kitchen knives. I use the standard process of 1000 grit, then 4-5000 grit, then finish with 8-12000 grit. All on Japanese or Norton waterstone. To bring the knife blade to my perfectionist level (OBS, to say the least), I tighten the knives. For this I use leather, MDF or very smooth pine boards. In all cases I add diamond paste or spray to the lines. This abrasive is very important as it removes very fine burrs and polishes the edge. Of all the diamond

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No show
