Works great with the right technique

This is my first time wearing contact lenses. My fingers are too big to place and remove effectively so despite some reviews I took a chance. It didn't work the first few times. After thinking about what it takes to make it work, I realized that the "tweezers" aren't spread far enough apart to get a good grip to fold/bend the lens and lock it to grab. I AM SO HAPPY - spoke too soon

Half an hour ago there was a knock at my door and the guy from UPS delivered an ultra light package containing this lens holder. Ordered primarily to help with lens removal, which I haven't tried yet, but MUST be easier than using your fingers. I actually had a contact lens when the shipment arrived so I used the device to put in a second lens and it worked really well on the first try. The material is very soft and pliable, with a slight indentation on one end to hold the lens while you put it

I wanted to like this

When I first tried soft contact lenses years ago I had no trouble removing them, but this time I had a problem. Insertion was easy, but extraction was a real challenge. Tired of all with varying degrees of success. I haven't had any luck with the grab and pinch method and unfortunately my optometrist didn't work with me. She handed me the lenses, left the room and told me to put them on. Well it was easy and I was told to leave the lenses on for a week. It would have been nice if she had stayed
