I ordered a large but I must have gotten a very large because the holes start at 31/32" and go up to 35/36". However, don't waste time returning. I can keep it when my son grows up. The belt looks ok. I just wish it was smaller.

Bought one for my 7 year old and one for my 10 year old. They work as they should but the 7 year old had a little trouble unbuckling the buckle the first few times.
