It serves the main purpose of protecting my Chihuahua's eye from the sun, sand and wind while it is healing from a corneal injury. BUT it was hard to prevent them from slipping while walking. I liked that the eye sockets were deep enough for big eyed puppies, there aren't many of those. We keep her safe and will wear her from time to time so she gets more used to wearing them.
