For the price you can't beat it.

We put our feet in the water with solar panels and it was a perfect start! Pros: Lightweight and easy to transport. Complete kit, you really don't need anything else to charge the battery. The charge controller is of good quality and easy to use considering the low cost of the panels. EASY to use, I'm no expert and this thing was up and running in just a minute. .cool Cons: Because it is a soft case, you must be very careful not to bend the corners as it may damage the cells and reduce the…

I am pleased to report that the panel I received works, is light and easy to move. can't get 200 watts out. but an hour ago it went from 54 watts to 116 watts and I haven't moved it. could get more if i figure out the perfect angle and direction to place it. it has no base. Obviously the sun has moved to a better position to receive more energy. The charge controller could be better but I don't plan on using it for my setup. I bought a better charge controller which is MPPT and not PWM. For the

You get what you paid for

We bought these panels for our van. This review is based on our first 3 week trip we took through Montana and Idaho in early September. The average temperature was in the 80's and there was almost no cloud cover. Pros: The panels are very thin and light, making them easy to store and transport; they seem to be very durable. that they should be able to produce at a maximum output of 16.6 amps. We've never had more than 8.5 amps. Even in direct midday sunlight and with no obstructions, this was…

This seems very good value if you are looking for a plug and play setup. I've made a lot of solar panels for a long time, and I ended up scratching my head over this one. So I settled on that. The 4 panels come in a nice sturdy foldable briefcase with strong velcro closures. It seems a little questionable in terms of durability, but I guess time will tell. I bought it to keep in the trunk and charge batteries when shore power isn't available, so I really have a feeling it will last quite a…

Don't confuse it - store vs. research comparison 1st place

I needed something decent to power my small fridge while camping in the middle of nowhere. I liked the price and portability as I am 80 years old and the weight and folded size are fine for me. I can easily hide it in multiple places in my van to protect it. It had everything I needed. I have done extensive research on the actual products of many different brands. Of course, it doesn't deliver 200 watts as advertised, but I was well aware of that from many test reports and comparisons. However,

With reasonable expectations, this is a good decision.

First time. Claimed Power is VERY optimistic. Even when mounted on a slope to get direct sun, the best I've seen is 130 watts. It was at a time when my solar panel in my house was generating a little more than it was advertised to be. That means the conditions for the solar battery were almost ideal. But I bought 200 watts because I knew half was more likely. I gave the product one star for its upbeat claim to performance. That issue aside, the panels are fantastic. I like rings for the fact…
