If you use them on Evas, you should probably only use hangers with screws.

We have used these to hang Christmas lights for easy picking up and taking down each year. They are simply screwed in with a cordless screwdriver. The nails in the nail hangers were too big/thick to use at home. We were afraid that the tree would break.

Perfect for hanging Christmas lights!

It helped! First year of showing Christmas lights and I was wondering how to hang icicles on my house. These work great! They have Phillips head screws so I just used my cordless drill to screw them into the wood shed on my roof and the bottom studs of my bedroom balcony. It's nice to know that the threads of light aren't going anywhere!

Works, but there are problems

Ordered for hanging New Year's garlands. The design of the plastic loop makes it very difficult to thread lines for direct mount models as the loop hole rests on the surface they are screwed or nailed to. The 90 degree screw design worked much better but didn't allow me to hide the fasteners. Loops are too small for standard extensions. The rest of the fasteners were of good quality, there were no other problems.
