This is a sensor transmitter controller, NO sensor power supply

When I received this I quickly realized that it was not suitable for my application. I needed a temperature sensor that would turn on the cooling unit at the set temperature. It doesn't. There is no power relay. Rather, another signal is to be sent to the HVAC unit, which turns on when the signal is received. For direct replacement applications in preinstalled HVAC RV systems, this obviously works. The description on Revain should be clearer.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Reliability

This solved all the problems I was having. (ie with my AC/Oven.)

This solved all the problems I was having with my RV/Oven. When your roof unit "clicks" and your air conditioner tries to run at the same time as the stove, you need it. After watching every YouTube video about my issues and asking questions on every forum I could find, someone asked me if I had changed the thermostat. No it was not. I changed almost everything else but had to remind myself to "keep it simple, stupid". Now I don't have to buy a new system for my old trailer (2004).

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Almost never

Quick and easy best in thermostats

I ordered this thermostat to replace an identical thermostat on my 2005 Keystone Sprinter. The original unit will only start the oven when set to 90 degrees. I needed two screwdrivers: one to remove the old unit from the wall and the other to loosen the screws that hold the wires in the connectors. I hung the circuit diagram on the wall and put on the headlamp. In less than 10 minutes I mounted the new thermostat on the wall and connected the wires. The oven now starts, stops and works…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good to go, works great!

I have a trailer from 2007 and the Dometic thermostat on the wall no longer works. 75 degrees I had to move the slider to 95 degrees so obviously the thermostat wasn't working properly. I photographed the wires that were in each individual screw hole, then unscrewed all of the wires and then placed the new thermostat on the wall. and in the photo put each colored wire back into the same screw hole and tighten them, it's not difficult at all and I'm not an electrician so you know it's easy…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Repair

Waited too long for installation, now I can't return the second Dometic RV analogue thermostat. Obviously these things have an expiration date and I can't get a replacement that works. Both the original order and the replacement failed. The oven is always on, regardless of the settings: SYSTEM, shutdown, or oven settings, regardless of the temperature controller setting. Now I start the oven manually by connecting and disconnecting the blue thermostat wires to the oven. This is how these…

Get Honeywell TH5110D1006/U

This article lasted from February 2019 to present (Q1 2021). Does your RV heater randomly turn off? Is it the same with your RV air conditioner? Does your system only turn on at about 6 degrees after installation? I had one so I replaced it with another Dometic DuoTherm thermostat. Now I'm back where it was in 2019. I recommend Honeywell TH5110D1006/U. I just installed one (just before I wrote this) and set it to auto switch (heat cold, cool hot). Dometic product is rubbish. Time will tell with

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Exact replacement for my Coachmen Capri 29FKS. Installed quickly.

This was purchased to replace the original Dometic factory analogue thermostat panel in my 2005 Coachmen Capri 29FKS caravan. This product looks just like the original. It was a straight-forward replacement with no fuss other than making sure the various wires were connected to the correct sockets on the terminal block. This panel mounts using the same mounting screws that held the old panel in place. I believe this new panel also came with some new screws that I didn't have to use. I installed

Pros
  • Nice packaging
