I needed lightbulbs for an old soldering iron. They work great and improve the look of my OLD eyes when working on wires that need soldering.

Just try to find these suction cups at major hardware stores, discount stores or elsewhere. I found a generic at an electronics store. It did not work. Changed, the new one didn't fit either. Thanks to Bezos for Revain!

I bought these to try in a vintage flashlight. The original ge224 bulb is hard to find. This pear didn't quite fit the socket. The bulbs shine much brighter than the original, but also hotter. Great lightbulbs! I need to find something she uses.

I replaced the bulb in my magnifying glass handle with this one although the original still worked. I chose it because it is much brighter (0.6A). I would prefer brightness to less battery drain. I usually use it for a minute or less anyway. I had to rotate it to aim properly once installed. It's way better than ever in the original.
