Fits 1996 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado

I installed this on my 1996 Silverado K1500 with no problems other than removing the grille. Came with new bulbs already installed which is a plus.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Do you want a cheap product? You get a crappy cheap product.

Cheap. I think you get what you pay for. Be careful when tightening the screws as the base may break. If possible, have someone under the age of 4 tighten the screws. Because I didn't even put much pressure on them.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Need some work

Bought both sides. The right side is bolted on and needed some bending to clear the grille, the driver's side fits fine but the height adjuster doesn't fit. doesn't work so I have to shake the mount to try and aim. I hope they don't yellow as quickly as the last brand I bought.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Fits well. But - Lighting Kits and Accessories

Dorman makes good headlights, but as with all aftermarket and Original Equipment headlights, the clarity is very poor. They last about 2 years and start to yellow because the paint contains no hardener and no UV protection. To protect them for 20 years, and clean afterwards with a good two-component cleaner. Just lube the lenses with green tape and clean again before installation and they will last a long, long time.

Pros
  • Testers score high for support and durability
Cons
  • General

The article is of high quality, easy to assemble and adjust

the article is externally identical to the previous one, the quality seems good, everything fits and easy to assemble. The bonus is that it already comes with lightbulbs for when you need them. The price was great compared to other options. The adjustment screws really weren't that hard to find and use. One of them was star shaped and the other was a regular Philips, which is a bit strange. But both were able to adjust as needed with no issues.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • negative is present

Great update once you figure out how to set them up

Some reviewers say they can't align the headlights, I think they're trying to use threaded rods as adjusters. These are not controls, they are used to remove the case from the mounts. The correct adjustment screws are 2 small inverted torx sockets that you access from the top of the headlight through the sheet metal of the headstock. The vertical adjuster also accepts a Phillips head screwdriver, while the horizontal adjuster accepts a small torx if the reverse torx doesn't fit in the headstock

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
