More junk from Chiiinnnaaa Do you know the place? It is also evident that Revain is currently running. I've returned about 90% of the items I've ordered in the last 3 months because they were cheap fakes. Not just car parts.

Update: After the start of the rainy season I noticed that the slat was not pressed firmly against the window, especially at the other end of the slat. Haven't found a way to tighten it. The instructions are very clear. Seems strong enough. It would be nice if there was a connector in the kit - hard to find separately. Hopefully this will make it through the car wash without being ripped off like the original.

I bought the Dorman brand because I was trying to avoid Chinese fakes which can be bought for about half the price of Dorman. I thought Dorman was an established American aftermarket company, the quality should be better. What was delivered WAS just a Chinese fake branded 'mightyclear'. The word "Dorman" is not on the part or on the packaging. With the same success I was able to buy a fake at first.

I compared this Dorman wiper arm to a factory Toyota wiper arm from my 2004 4Runner and it turned out to be identical in design. The only difference is that this lever is 0.25 inches longer, which isn't a big deal. It works great on my 4Runner. For HALF the price the dealer wanted for the same! Before installing I used a Dremel tool and did quite a bit of trimming. Tabs that make contact with the base of the lever under the spring. Installed today. Installation was easy. The spring seems strong enough to touch the window the full length of the blade, contrary to many reviews here. My only real issue is that the standard nut cap doesn't fit. It's okay, but it worries me a little. I bought a genuine Toyota wiper blade 85242-35021 from Amazon and they all fit together nicely. I hope I don't have to buy another wiper arm, but if I have to I won't hesitate to buy this one. Also, I didn't see a single Dorman brand in any box.
