2013 - 2015 Ford Taurus

My 2015 Ford Taurus SEL started but wouldn't start and after some research it turned out that this part was recalled a few years ago. I swapped it out in about five minutes and was able to start the car like nothing happened. All the parts stores around me have been asking around $75 for it, so it's a lot cheaper here at Revain.

If you have fuel problems in your Ford, check this first.

I was planning to have my mechanic friends replace the fuel pump in my Ford but I came across a YouTube video of the exact problem I was having. I thought since the fuel pump is being changed why not replace the module as well. Installed it myself and started the car. Brilliant!

This solved the problem.

I have a problem with the fuel pump shutting off. Even the Ford dealer didn't know why the wrench icon appeared on the information display. The problem was that these universal code readers could read any code. It wasn't until I got FORScan for my laptop that works with the elm327 adapter that I found the stored code indicating that the fuel pump driver module had lost compatibility. I ordered this and it fixed the problem and the wrench icon was gone. The damn Ford service department didn't…

Replace the fuel pump relay module before the fuel pump assembly for $1000.00

Partly because after replacing the fuel pump assembly the truck started up again and they replaced the fuel pump relay and wished they had started there and $1,000 saved. Installed by my son, he dropped the spare plug. I loosened 2 bolts and then installed a new fuel pump relay, plugged it in, bolted it on and replaced it with a spare relay. $50 and my truck is like new.
