It fits but the screws are rubbish

I bought and installed this air intake in 2015. What I initially doubted turned into serious problems. Almost all holes for the screws are knocked out. If you know anything about these motors, you know that unfortunately you have to change coil packs quite often. It took only one worker 30 minutes to clean 8 holes. Turning the self-tapping screw forward 1/8th will complete the hole. I've now tightened the coil packs with 1/4" concrete swabs. For now they're a bit thicker and hold up well. Forโ€ฆ

Self tapping screws are a nightmare.

2007 F150, XLT Triton 4.6. Fits well, but as the name suggests, self-tapping screws are terrible and break or loosen very easily. I was really hoping for some peace of mind after installing this part as it should solve my coolant leak problems, but now I'm just worried about what I had to do on the fuel rail when the bolt broke. Speaking of which, the replacement gaskets that come with your injectors are rubbish. I started my car and gasoline was sprayed everywhere. I immediately reinstalledโ€ฆ

Great intake replacement!

I installed this intake manifold on a 2008 F-150 4.6L. The installation went smoothly and the parts fit very well. Do not rely 100% on the instructions provided. Some automotive know-how is essential. However, this is not difficult at all. There is a rubber plug on the back of the passenger side panel that caused problems for some people, so I added an extra hose clamp. So far no problems for me. The only drawback was the self-tapping screws for attaching the fuel rails and coils. I don't likeโ€ฆ

Works well 2007 Ford e150

At first this was a good fit. I just replaced the gasket on my stock intake manifold but after 100 miles it was leaking. It looks like the waterholes have widened a bit over time, causing the seal to fail again. We liked the fact that it is sealed at the top of the manifold so only the bottom needs to be sealed so there is a 1/2 chance of a leak. We did not need the alternator bracket and also replaced the clamp on the rear hose cap as many of the spring clamps failed. Having done this beforeโ€ฆ
