🚗 Premium Replacement: Dorman 924-250 Front Windshield Washer Hose for Ford/Mercury Models Review

This product was purchased in February 2018 and it has already failed. The manufacturer used glue to secure the tubes in the grommet and it doesn't stick, both ends are fully out of the grommet on the first washer sprayer. In my opinion, the glue used does not withstand the heat from the engine compartment. I contacted Dorman and they just said they forwarded my message to Revane, apparently they don't care about the quality of their parts.

Rereading other comments, I see that what I bought (windshield washer hose) is to connect the pipe from the strut/strut to the fuel injectors on the hood to replace. What happened to me is that the hard pipe (original) broke near where it enters the hood, probably because it became too brittle from the heat in the engine bay. This is in Sable 2002. The broken hose has been replaced with a clear vinyl hose and sealed with GOOP to keep it connected. Also, I used vinyl tape (because it was handy)…

2003 Taurus SEL. A working part that requires extra effort to fit properly. I hope you are mechanically inclined and have a heat gun. If all you're looking forward to is a simple, hassle-free installation, you'll be disappointed. That being said, it works great if you have a heat gun to change its shape a bit.
