Complete and satisfied

I give 5 stars. Good product, fully met my expectations. However 5 stars are earned because the order was shipped incomplete but the process of sending me a replacement order and returning the wrong order was flawless and so convenient. We all make mistakes in our work. How we fix them shows the value of who we are.

If your fan only runs at high speeds, this is for you. I got stuck so I had to change the wiring harness. When you cut the pigtail, leave enough wire to show the colors of the wires. Just strip the wires, crimp and shrink the wires. Reinstall and the fan will run at all speeds.

Perfect fit for my Ford Ranger

Bought to replace the fan motor resistor on my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT. Only 2 of the 4 fan speeds worked in the cabin. Unfortunately the connector on the blow motor resistor is rusted, this kit has solved this problem by fitting a new connector. I just took a picture of which colored wires went where on the old connector, then cut it off and plugged this new one back in. Works great and now I have all 4 fan speeds again!

Perfect fit for my 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0

My Explorer 96 lost the two lower fan speed settings. This part fixed the problem. It took a bit of lube to install, but it was nice to be able to lower the fan if needed. My connector was sticking to the resistor so I had to cut the old one off and crimp the new one that was in the box. They include 4 heat shrink crimp connectors to protect against moisture. They have worked great for me. I also wrapped mine in duct tape. I also used dielectric grease on the connector to keep moisture out.

I installed this on my Ford Ranger with a new fan motor. I replaced the wiring harness, resistor and fan motor which brought a few days of relief in hot July. Then one day I stopped at the store and when I came back nothing was working. I've been going through this reversal of these 3 parts since spring of this year. Fixed my 98' Ford Explorer!

My 98" Ford Explorer fan only ran at two speeds, low and high, so this part seemed like a problem after reading online. And it was! Reaching the part was the hardest part as you had to move the washer fluid releaser. In addition, the plug on the old one was difficult to remove. Therefore, a new connector is included in the kit. Fixed 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac AC Settings 1-3

My 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac AC Performance Settings 1-3 stopped working. After some research I've decided that the cheapest and easiest way is to try a fan resistor. After watching a video on YouTube and seeing what was wrong, I decided to replace it myself. This completely fixed the problem. I bought this option with an extra wiring harness just in case I took any parts that needed replacing. I figured a few bucks more wouldn't be such a big deal if I had one just in case. I got this for my 2000 Explorer off-road stick and it matched the original part perfectly. I was wondering why it came with a new connector and pigtail wiring. During disassembly I discovered that Ford uses a standard "in-cabin" connector that has unsealed exposed leads on the wire side of the connector for the connector that the Ford engineer designed for placement on the engine bay side of the HVAC housing has selected. Perfect fit and functionality.

The air conditioning and heating in my 2001 Ford Ranger only worked at high speeds. I did some googling and all the signs pointed to the fan motor resistance. This kit had everything I needed. I wasn't sure if I needed the connector that came with the kit. Ideally I would just like to unplug the old resistor and plug in the new one.
