facility is. Best in Weather Stripping

Leaves a big gap after installation. Prevents the door from closing without a full bang. Otherwise. easy to install. I hope next week the pressure will shape it better and there won't be a gap in the door.

Everything is like in the factory.

It was very easy to install. A screw behind the driver's door to pull out the panel for full access to the seal. I had to cut a little, and no more noise. Music to my ears! Seriously, now I can hear the radio.

Not identical to factory seal

Installation is very easy but I found it is NOT identical to the original. I had to slam the door hard to get it to close properly. Must also be trimmed to fit. I hope the more it's on the truck the softer it can get.

Lightweight and works great

Was a great replacement when it was first launched. Worked great on my 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the extended cab and driver's door. It was a little long but I just trimmed off the excess and everything was fine. Before replacing the seal in the cabin, the wind was very noisy. Now I can hear all the other sounds of my truck, but there's no wind. giggle

Worked for GMC Yukon 2006 onwards.

Replaced a worn oil seal on my Yukon because it had crazy wind noise when riding in cross winds. It worked well, was fairly easy to apply (probably 15 minutes) and was about 8 inches too long so I just trimmed off the excess. Right after that I was traveling and now I hear the ticking of my swivel jacks much more clearly, even in the wind!

Quality product, fit and finish

2004 GMC 2000HD in excellent condition with poor driver door seal and water leak. Replaced original gasket with this Dorman product and problem solved. Easy installation. Please note this will fit multiple vehicles so I had about 4-5 inches that had to be cut off due to overlap. Before cutting, make sure the gasket is firmly seated in each part of the door channel. I must have seen it 10 times to be sure. Used metal scissors to cut the seal. Others have mentioned that after fitting a new seal…

Also fits on the passenger side!

I don't understand why the listings (more than one source), including the Dorman website, say this product is for the DRIVER side only. Maybe someone can explain this to me? However, since I couldn't figure out why the rubber grommet wouldn't fit on either side, I installed it on the PASSENGER side of my 2006 Suburban. Guess what? It fits perfectly, just as I expected.
