This thing works wonders! The only thing I don't like is that the nozzle section is quite heavy and the linkage that connects the head section to the handle isn't strong enough to support the weight, so the torch tries to drop down during use turning, forcing you to keep a steady hand on it. This lantern means business. I was expecting slightly better heat than my propane torch, but this torch can illuminate your exhaust pipe bright orange in seconds. Make sure you read the instructions. If your gas pressure is too high or too low, the torch tips will glow orange. Luckily I found that out before any damage was done.

I am a full time plumber and bought this. It works great in certain situations where the water keeps flowing back and cooling the pipe. I don't use it for every soldering since I work in sync with my single tip torch. I tried it but it heats up too fast. As I mentioned before, a life and trouble saver in certain situations in the field. Worth the price.
