Love these sock needles

Love these needles. I used to knit Sime socks with circular needles but was inspired to try DPN knitting gurus Arne and Carlos in their videos. this makes them easy to handle and prevents them from falling out. With circular needles, my tight knitting made pulling yarn from cord to needle with each twist a chore. The problem was solved with the help of DPN. I love beautiful colors and sensations. The picture shows a work in progress with Arne&Carlos Pairfect yarn.

Nice colours, very poor quality

I ordered these needles with high expectations. I thought they were of similar quality to the Knitters Pride needles I usually use. I bought these because I wanted to change the color and while they are very pretty the quality is very poor. I had been knitting for about 1 1/2 hours when the first needle broke. It just broke when I pulled the needle out and the second needle broke 30 minutes later! In the last 15 years I have knitted a lot, mostly with wooden knitting needles. I almost never…

Pleasant to the touch but fragile and difficult to assemble

I got tired of making socks with thin bamboo needles, so I took these. I changed them in the middle of the project and immediately felt the difference. Their smoothness is pleasant to the touch and makes knitting easier. But they're not so slippery that it's difficult to hold or lose stitches. And they are just beautiful, the swirling colors really make knitting more sensual and meditative. The disadvantages of these needles are the reason I changed my rating from four to two stars: 1.
