Nothing special about

I received this and it was much finer than what I bought from Comgrow. It may be because I experimented before finding the right settings for it, but I've been typing with it for at least a week and it's been hard to say the least. Everything always looks uneven and feels stickier than my other prints. At first I thought it was a nozzle and changing it helped but it was still notched and then the tension started. Comgrow is about $5 more expensive but I'll stick with them from now on.

Pros
  • Premium PLA Filament with advantages like incredible printability, high purity, low shrinkage and excellent layer adhesion, suitable for printing projects of functional parts with higher durability.
Cons
  • High Price

Great PLA for your money!

So I printed a few items and other placement/support issues all mine, it worked out great. You now have a Yoda extruder handle, a Neptune 2 tool holder, and this Stormtrooper head, among other things. The only downside that others have mentioned is that the end of the spool sticks out like a pesky thread. I cut it off, but I'll probably have to cut it off completely as the spool is still popping out of the hump. Not sure if it's affecting the prints as everything looks fine, but it's annoying…

Pros
  • Works and fits perfectly with all major 1.75mm FDM 3D printers
Cons
  • Legacy model

Overall a good thread. Bad coil

Good thread. Has a glossy finish. I've had good results on the Ender 3 with 210°C head and 40°C layer. My benchy results were pretty impressive. I'm deducting a star because of the terrible spool. The thread comes all the way to the edge, which means there will be ANY degree of slack and you'll have to deal with unraveling the thread. If you manage to use enough thread to create an "edge" so that the thread stays "in", you're done. Another thing is that there is a bit of line sticking out of…
