I have extremely sensitive skin and this product works great as it doesn't break out or leave marks. I give it two stars because of the smell and how dirty the container is; half the product all over my shower. The smell is like that heavy liquorice smell that lingers on your skin—I don't usually bother flavored foods, but this one does. I will not repurchase this product and will try to find something else.

Works great! Yes, it's liquid, but that's because you have to Lather it up A LOT with your hands before applying it, and then lather it up even more onto your skin! I personally prefer unscented as it's more suitable for "more sensitive areas", the price is good, and the ingredients are good too. Much worse than the mainstream of a typical shaving cream!

I've tried several shaving gels and mousses and this is the only shaving product that completely eliminates skin irritation. It doesn't lather as easily as regular shaving gel, but as long as your skin is really damp (I use it in the shower) you can lather it up. The only thing I don't like is the tube. Since the gel is very runny, I store the tube upside down so that it doesn't spill out as quickly when dispensing. You should really consider a different container/dispenser.

Dr. Bronners, I love you. However, the packaging is not suitable for this application. It's very fluid, it just goes everywhere, and it's very wasteful. As this is a shaving product and the product itself doesn't foam, I tested a small amount with some water in the foam dispenser and it worked great! In this scenario, 1 bottle is enough for me!

I love Dr. Bronners and use their castile soap and hand soap daily. I really wanted to love this shaving cream but it just doesn't work. My skin is very irritated after shaving because it doesn't soften the skin and the result is razor burn. I've tried it several times and it just leaves my skin feeling uncomfortable. I will look into other non-toxic, safe shaving creams.

I love Dr. Bronner makes quality products without harsh chemicals and this shaving gel is no exception. I didn't expect it to foam, so I'm not complaining. The downside is that the bottle is upside down but the 'gel' isn't viscous at all so when you open it the soap spills out through the bottom. This is not the real Dr. Bronner! The shaving soap is much thinner than the real product. The bottle was not closed. The bottle was sealed with tape when I received it, but I didn't think anything of it until I opened the bottle. The top of the bottle where the seal would normally be is different (see photo). It looks like this has been changed so they can put their fake product in the bottle as the real bottle's opening is very small. After taking the cap off I couldn't put it back on tightly…
