A GREAT IDEA! GOOD PRODUCT!

This adapter is exactly what I need for my 2008 Grand Cherokee OEM scissor jack. This jack raises the rear axle and a three foot OEM extension is required to raise the jack. The OEM grip has three sections and is bulky. So I bought this adapter and a 3 foot (that's really three foot) long socket extension to work with the serial port. The adapter fits perfectly. Now I can use the jack even though I'm 71 years old and have shoulder arthritis.

This adapter worked well. Problem

This adapter worked fine. The problem is that when raising the car with an impact wrench, the threads of the scissor jack were torn off, which led to a dangerous situation. When you lower the jack, it can just drop the car. I don't know if this will work with any scissor jack, I tried Autozone's Duralast jack and the jack messed up. The impact wrench I used was a common port cargo tool plug-in. I didn't steal a truck, just a 2010 Chevrolet Impala.

The adapter works very well! Just take your time with power tools.

Very impressive! I connected this adapter to the scissor jack that comes with my 2006 Honda Odyssey. I was able to raise and lower my minivan effortlessly with the Porter Cable brushless impact wrench! Just take your time and hold onto the power tool. Even a tight adapter can sometimes turn on the socket and slow down the process. No more overextending with my scissor jack since I always keep power tools in my minivan.

Works best with jacks

Works well with my 13 Honda Accord jack. I suggest to install it with 2 keys 16mm and 17mm while your car is jacked up. In other words, lift it up until you can hand-tighten it, then install this adapter. Getting up from the desk is too difficult. I bought another one for my CRV socket. I would be wary of using a real impact wrench. I've seen YouTube videos of people pulling threads off a factory jack. Just buy a 1/2" ratchet and handle or attach a 19mm socket to it. Port freight has it all.

Almost impossible, the price is too high

The concept is solid, but the reality isn't so good. If the torque is lower, the jack will not move. At higher torque I can see the bolt loosening and the metal shavings coming from all the impact blows from that device, jack or impact tool. Good for infrequent use but if you use it every month something will break after a few uses. It can't cost more than $1 to do it. For €5 I would give it 5 stars. Even $9.99 would be reasonable, but $15 is too high a price for a piece of metal that can't be…

Perfect adapter for workshop and shop

At first I wanted to use the bolt and nut provided, that would work. I cut the bolt to the desired length and used Loctite threadlocker (red) to ensure the nut wouldn't come loose. I later replaced the bolt with a class 8 pin and washer held in place by an E-clamp. It ran very quietly and should never vibrate. I would suggest using a little heavy oil (diff oil) on the jackscrew as it now spins faster than it would by hand. I would recommend it to anyone, it's an easy upgrade. Don't forget to…

Please be careful with it.

I bought this item to add to my scissor lift truck. Very little load on the jack. BUT when I first used this device, the bolt exploded. I'm wearing protective gear, so no damage, no foul. There was very little pressure on the wood when I reduced the air pressure in my compressor to about 75psi to reduce the shock by 1/2 inch. If this thing breaks a bolt that breaks easily on the pallet tree with just a little effort, it's never going to lift the car. I installed a much stronger screw and no…

I'm a pretty strong person and I've done most of my guides.

On a hot day you don't want to jack yourself up to change a tire. I'm quite a strong person and have been a manual laborer all my life, but if there's an easier way, I'll take it. I always keep a Ryobi 18v 1/2" percussion gun in my trunk in case mine breaks. I have a AAA plan, but I can change a wheel and be on my way in 10 minutes. This adapter allows my percussion gun to be a car scissor jack I loosen the lug nuts before jacking up the car as when my battery dies it is easier to jack the car…

Extremely useful and unique product

If the product isn't perfect I don't like to give 5 stars. However, this product is so unique and useful that I think it deserves 5 stars. The hole in the scissor jack is larger than the hole/screw of the Dr.Roc adapter. If you don't hold the drill in the perfect position, you will be dealing with wobble that can tear your drill. but I am very happy with the purchase (I have been looking for this type of adapter for years). PS: make sure you tighten this nut really well or it might fly apart. A

An elegant way to build an electric scissor jack with an impact wrench

This is brilliant. Now, with my cordless impact wrench and 2-ton scissor jack, I can raise or lower a wheel in seconds. A note. I tried to lift the second wheel with this adapter, the vibration from the impact wrench tore the nut off the bracket. Screw although the lock washer is included. Bolt, washer and lock washer exploded. I took the parts and some Loctite Threadlocker Red (271) and reassembled the nut and bolt. After using the screw lock, I continued to use the jack on the wheel where the
