Large indentation on flat tabletop

I disassembled the table and filled the large indentation on the table with epoxy. The indentation is about 3/16" deep in the center. I did this several times, allowing the epoxy to dry between each pour. I used a sanding block and replaced it with a finer grit. Then sanded between each fill until the table was completely flat war. Now it's ready to use. If you don't fill this hole you won't get good results with your router. My other advice is that you need to make small pieces with theโ€ฆ

Made of plastic. suitable for power and hand tools

Tried to use it with a Dremel 655 wrench attachment and got terrible results: This table is made entirely of plastic, including the parts that attach the dremel to the table. Regardless of how well you secure it to the workbench, due to the way the Dremel is attached to the table, there will always be a gap between the actual drill bit and the table itself. If you're using a 655 drill bit you'll have to dip first (which the 655 is NOT good at, but that's another story), then after you've madeโ€ฆ

Great addition to a small Dremel workshop

I've been dreaming of one for a long time and finally did it. Constructed of durable plastic, it feels very durable. It is designed to be mounted to the edge of a bench, or alternatively 2x4 in length so it can be temporarily attached to the bench, which I will do. In any case, I usually attach such tools to my workmate. The table includes an adjustable planing/trimming guide with a decent guard, a miniature version of what you'll find on most full-size router tables. The guide also includes aโ€ฆ

Poor tolerances/quality control.

A very frustrating experience. I was hoping to make my Dremel 300 more versatile by buying a router/router table but the build quality was not up to the mark. The spring of the adjustment screw was caught in the plastic making it impossible to screw it in to install the Dremel. I ended up having to find needle nose pliers to loosen it and bend it to the side. Is the story over? no After installation, I found to my chagrin that the mount wasn't perfectly vertical. It was about 2-3 degrees when I

Good router table for small spaces

I needed a router table, but I don't have much room in my garage to put a separate table. Many years ago my father gave me a Dremel and said it was one of the most versatile tools I own. Stumbled across this device and remembered his sage advice. The table easily attaches to the corner of my workbench and can be easily removed when I need a little more workbench space. The build quality of the table is good, but feels a bit like plastic. I think it will hold up given the small projects it wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easily mounts to any work surface on the table. Compact and easy to store away when not in use
Cons
  • boring packaging

Fur. cracks. Cheap. But cheap enough to be worth it I think.

I have two, the first was open, dirty, used and cracked. The second was brand new, in a sealed box and still cracked. There is a hairline crack in each hole as well as a few elsewhere, all over the black base. How and why this is acceptable to Dremel I have no idea. I think I'll keep the thing because I need it immediately and it really works but I think I'll make my own nailboard with metal hardware and a non-plastic chassis maybe corian, laminate, hard plastic or something I'll report on theโ€ฆ
