These things are deceptively effective. If you have them in your Dremel kit and never really thought about them, you need to test them. But like all Dremel accessories, they cost way more than they should for what they are. It can't be changed, but at least they play like champions.

I really enjoy using these Dremel quick release wheels, just wish they were a bit cheaper. I've used them for sanding 3D plastic models (requires LOW SPEED) and cleaning the silver jewelry I make. They get hard work done much faster, especially with silver. Plastic melts when rubbed, so low speed is required when cleaning 3D prints. This is my second order of these CDs so I have to love them!

I use 60, 120, and 240 grit EZ Lock wheels to finish glass edges. EZ Lock lets you swap discs faster. The product is very good and serves its purpose. I happened to buy them when the price was around $1-$2 for a set of 5 which made them very good value for money. Since then, the price has increased about double from the list price (over $10). The current price makes the use of plates uneconomical. I am seriously considering buying Lapidary equipment for glass finishing.
